lost in translation

I just used the 'google language tools' to see what my japanese texts
'translates' into using this application.

the results were very funny....
人って単純だけど難しいよね >became 'It is difficult but simple people'

its ironic because it spat out a sentence which is vastly different from what i meant.
ofcourse 単純 is simple and 難しい is difficult....
but the nuances are completely lost within the lines...

人の気持ちって単純なのにどうしてこんなに難しいんだろう
is probably the lengthy version of what i meant
but then under the translation of 'google' it becomes
'I wonder why it is so difficult is simply the feelings of others'.....

hmmm...not quite the sentence i was expecting....

its more...
(mix of emotions, happiness, anger, sorrow, and joy...)
ones emotions can be categorized so systematically and easily but they are so difficult to define....

this is only one example...but

it reminded me that translating one language from another is so difficult because nuances can so
easily be lost between....
